His Holiness the Dalai Lama reiterated many times that the reincarnation of Dalai Lama will leave it to the Tibetan people to choose. Whether the institution of Dalai Lama will remain or not will be ultimately decided by the Tibetan people. However, Chinese government has already instituted a law for approving a reincarnated lamas of Tibetan Buddhism and are eager to choose their own Dalai Lama. The Athiest government of Communist China is somehow putting it seriously as it matters the unity of montherland.

The Question is whether China be able to live up to the aspiration of the Tibetan people. China’s appointed Panchen Lama is the classic example of the dejection of the Tibetan People, who is not at all considered as the real Panchen reincarnation. The Dalai Lama’s appointed Panchen Lama and his parents are still kidnapped by the Chinese government and no where to be seen. Taking Panchen Lama into consideration, the Chinese plan of recognizing the future Dalai Lama shall not succeed even if PRC tried rigorously.
